Such a sad place, I asked to be moved as was in the old part, which was cold and damp and smelt awful. We paid for breakfast, which was cancelled as no food due to the place closing down. This should have been added to the information when booking. No facilities, just two tea bags and instant coffee. Obviously, I would not go again if it had not been closing. A poor building is completely neglected. TV was tiny couldn't see it. Only plus clean beds

Great location for the station, walks, food and drinks. Decent comfort/cleanliness levels consistent with Premier inn but the hotel building, which is very old, is desperately in need of renovations. No bar or restaurant available.

We stayed here for two nights while visiting our Nephew and partner in Walthamstow and attending ABBA Voyage!! The hotel is a lovely old building with views of Epping forest. Our room was clean with everything you expect from a Premier Inn. You can't open the windows so it may be quite hot in summer though. The service on the desk was average....we didn't eat in the restaurant for Breakfast. Chingford centre is only a 10 minute walk to the bus and train station and shops/restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Contrary to other reviews we didn't see any signs saying it was closing down......

Still good value and staff attention as expected from Premier Inn. However, the hotel appears to tiered and being run down probably prior to being closed or sold. Lunch and evening meals are no longer available at this location. A trip into town is fraught with parking concerns because of the ULEZ imposition!
